    How about some candy cane spikes and 32oz cans of monster on top of the speakers. And some pretty nightGlow throw pillows inside the speakers to tighten up the bass.

    It has nothing to do with Audiogon, it's a product from Coconut-Audio (emphasis on nut!!!). BTW, there's plenty of nutty ideas here on your beloved CP.

    Lots of threads on crystals on AA. I've used 'em :eek: and found amethyst quartz to make a noticeable, positive difference :wink:.

    When properly placed they removed a grunge from the system that I wasn't even aware I had. And they're cheap and easy to experiement with.

    This gives a whole new meaning to psychoacoustic.

    I truly believe these amulets can give new/positive aural experience to some people when they truly believe in them.

    They'll be able to hear it, although the difference can't be detected with measuring apparatus.

    I put water bags in my speakers for the liquid effect, it helps with the roll off in the highs..

    Audiogon is just the audio specific version of eBay....why is it their fault?

    EDIT: Theta - Just read your later reply. Understood. That community has started to change in the past couple years and it was only a matter of time.

    I'm sure play-do or silly putty would have the same effect. Some chicken feathers and voodoo dolls would help a lot too. They soak up all the mechanical bad ju ju and send moonbeams of acoustical love right to the brain in need of alpha states. Beer is cheaper and easier to get, and doesn't freak out the ol' lady, kids or neighbors.
