    I think it has to do with the content becoming a little too politicized. I lost a couple too as did others. Polks call. Take it or leave it.

    I was looking for this post this morning also could not find it everyone had some interesting views on your post, some may of been offended by some of the comments,reality bites so they say,the moderators are just doing thier

    It doesnt take a rocket scientist to believe that a moderator had it deleted. Why not PM them first instead of making a thread about it?

    Hopefully this thread gets deleted as well.

    Not the first time I see this happen. If you really think your thread is worth it, I would suggest you save it in your personal bank, debate it with the admin and repost if allowed. There are tons of threads that should be deleted for the greater good of the community and are left to degenerate for pages and pages. Either yours was even worse or you are not part of the Polkies that are blessed with immunity on their choice of discussion...

    It would be ridiculous to ask mods to justify and annotate every action they take on here. Dumb stuff that violates the rules gets deleted. Period. Deal with it.

    He wasn't referring to you. He was saying that the mods should be more respectful to those whose posts get deleted, by providing them an explanation, as you had suggested.

    My point was, those whose posts get deleted weren't respecting the rules, and they don't deserve a mod's public explanation each and every time.

    The offending party knows a post was removed. It should be obvious that the post had some issues with the moderator. No one else needs to be involved and the post doesn't need to be annotated as to who and what time the post was removed.

    Doing it your way, might start other pissing contests.
    - Comparisons of why mine was removed and his was not
    - You could easily count the number of posts that had been removed by a particular poster. This would make it easy to vilify the person in public.

    In fact, on the boards that I mod, this thread wouldn't even exist. The rules state that you don't discuss moderator actions in public. If you want to know something, you PM the mod.

    I think the mods here are pretty tolerant about most things. If you got a post deleted you should take it as a warning that it over reached the rules a bit or a lot.
