I would like a pair of 703 in black for my living room, with a matching 704c of course. I loved the 703 for the two days I had to try them. I may have to shift my fun money fund around if the discount is right.

I thought the 703's were going to sell for $999 each but on crutchfield it shows $749 each. With that being a $2500 difference between the 707's and 703's you could get two nice subs.

crutchfield shows the 705 at 1499 each, the difference is 1500.00 not 2500.00. Still a big number, but not the 2500.00 mentioned.
    Dodd - Battery Preamp
Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
    Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player

DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
    Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
    Outlaw ICBM - crossover
    Beringher BFD - sub eq

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

The 707's are $4k and the 703's are $1500, that's a $2500 difference in price for just the bass section.

Ditto. BTW, Crutchfield already showing "low stock" in cherry and out of stock in mahogany! Are they the only vendor?

I'm speculating, but with local hi-fi dealers like Tweeters, that did carry Polk LSi line now gone, there are probably not too many well known retailers left that do carry high end Polk. We are in transition period my friends. Either high end sales pick up online for what was lost by death of Brick and Mortar stores or ...
