What do you guys think of this line? I was wondering how they would pair up with a set of monitor 70s. I like the silver face design as it reminds me of my vintage Pioneer gear.

    Sounds great and priced right.

I have the 840E pre-amp, two 840W amps, and could not be happier with the end result. The only drawback to me is that the 840W amp, being class A up to some point, is very hot, even at idle. Just last month I broke down and had my AC fixed, after being broke for at least 10 years, so that I could live with these things in the summer.

Bang for the buck is about as high as it gets. Cambridge makes incredible sounding gear for the money. I have the Azur650BD Blu ray player and if I was going to build a nice 2 channel system , Cambridge would be my first choice.

    the Brits make good gear.

Cambridge Audio designs its products in the UK and manufactures them in its own manufacturing facility in China. Not saying that's a bad thing as I own an Azur 640A V2.0 and it's a mighty fine sounding unit.

I took Dan's recommendation on the Azur650BD Bluray player and couldn't be happier. Fantastic BDP for the money.

Glad to hear all of the positive responses since I am leaning towards making a purchase myself. I'll have to save for a few more paychecks but it is within reach.

There are some good used deals on audiogon.com

Ha, I saw that. You may be right since the black plague has been with us for decades.
