Lost learning ability

Soundbar 6000 was working fine for 6 months. Had power outage 7/6/11. TV remote (Samsung UN55C6500) was working with the 6000IHT prior to the power outage.
Have tried to relearn the Samsung remote to no avail. I have powered down the sound bar, unplugged the optical input, cleared the learning memory, etc.
The remote that came with the soundbar works fine.
The TV and soundbar are plugged into an power outlet that is surge protected, so I am not concerned about a power spike. All appears normal except for this inability to learn.

Seems like you have a problem with the Samsung remote, so call them.Political Correctness'.........defined
