    UPDATE

The doctor called us after reading the x ray. The soft spots have not closed so no surgery is needed. They said we need to get him in a helmet ASAP so someone will be calling us to set this up.

Such a freaking relief. I have never felt this stressed out and helpless in my life. A helmet is nothing compared to cutting his skull apart.

Great news. Soft spots are more common then we realize. My brothers child has same symptoms and things are getting better. Helmets are necessary. Hopefully he won't fight wearing it.

    God Bless

My son had kind of a knot on the back of his noggin, so anytime he was bad, I'd slap him on the noggin--you know, to try to off-set it. He's 26 now and always tells me "thanks dad for smackin me upside the head it looks good now". To which I respond "no problem son.":biggrin:

When we go in for the helmet I am going ask about the eyes. We have had an eye doctor appointment set up for him for about 2 months now. They didn't want to see him till he was about 9 months old.
