Tsi300 pair + Denon 1311 amp

Hi Polks 
I purchased a tsi300 pair and pumped by a denon 1311 amp.
This was i guess 3 months ago so the speakers have comfortably worn in.
My question is that they sound very very ordinary. Im aware i dont have a sub, but i dont get any kick at all, apart from loudness.
I think my wiring is ok, with only 3 units involved there's no issue.
Any idea whats happening ?

IMO you should ad a sub or last upgrade the speakers , ppl are fairly happy with what the 300 can deliver , but they then to upgrade to other speakers and use the 300 as surrounds .
