LSI 25 Sub hookup

I Have an Onkyo TX-SR806 receiver with only one sub LFE out. I have a sub but I want to use the two subs in my LSI 25's. Any problem using Y connectors at the receiver end to run the sub cables to the three inputs? (sub, and two tower sub inputs). I there any significant loss of signal to the subs if I use good Y connectors? I don't plan on turning the sound up to where the house falls down but I do want the 3 sub sound.
Thanks, Jeff
Thanks, Jeff

Using a splitter works just fine with them. FWIW, I actually run the LFE out to my PSW1000's line-in and cross it at 50Hz, then run it from the line-out to the LFE-in of the 25s. That way they cover the full spectrum and the higher bass, while your main sub is dedicated to where to 25s start to roll off.- Computer Rig -

That sound like a better plan. You are talking about the crossover setup for the LSi25's right? Thanks for the help

Well the way it works in the setup I mentioned is that the 25s dont use their crossover at all; your receiver dictates that. They will receive the full LFE signal. Your subwoofer acts as a low-fill, so you don't get bombarded by mid and high bass, but you get that extra gutsy low rumble from explosions etc. By using the "line-in" instead of "LFE-in" on your main subwoofer, you enable its crossover, so you can adjust where it comes into play.
My LSi25s' upper sections take everything >100Hz. My LSi25s' subs take everything <100Hz. My PSW1000 reinforces everything <50Hz.
What subwoofer are you using in addition to your 25s?- Computer Rig -

the Polk PSw 650. I'll hook it up your way. It seems to make sense.

How'd it end up working out? Do you like the sound?- Computer Rig -

i think the best option is run your 25s as full range, and run the sub out from your avr to the sub that you have.

I would recommend that you use the L/R pre-outs of the receiver to send signal to the LSi25 subs and use your other sub for LFE only. You'll find the bass to be much cleaner coming from the mains. Cross your LFE sub over at around 60Hz. I've done this with both RT3000's and SRT's and enjoy listening to music much more than having the L/R main subs connected to the Sub out.____________________________________________________________

I've used the method dpowell mentioned as well and it works well too, but if you're going that route, set your receiver's internal crossover point to 50, give or take.- Computer Rig -
