Alright guys - I debated this for a few weeks and I think I want to move on to something a different in the Definitive line up! I got a sweet spot for em! :)

These are awesome, dynamic and fun speakers. They will fill up an extremely large room with incredible bass for music or home theater. What is cool about them is you can set them up for music play back an LFE inputs for home theater and they do dig low enough for most home theaters, you will not need a separate subwoofer for these in your system unless you are shooting for 110db at 20hz....

Just a great set of speakers that I have enjoyed for a few weeks now!

I ordered brand spankin new top caps for them - I just unboxed them tonight and can provide an invoice if necessary. The bottoms show a few scratches but unless a mongoose jumps through the wall and knocks you out beside them on the floor you wont see them. The grill socks are like new no snags.

+1, it's an outstanding HT speaker and a step up from the Rti a series. Anyone looking for a great speaker this is it.

These are a HUGE step from the RTi series - I had the LSi side by side with them and I would definitely coin toss between them depending on my preference

I would like to comment that the later version of these had Vinyl high gloss tops (which these had... I replaced them with brand new piano gloss black painted tops.

Gotcha - I am not a huge fan of the Mooresville area personally... Lake Norman is pretty cool even though it is not far away from MV

If anyone is interested , basically Definitive Technology speakers of all levels and sizes are a upgrade from Polk audio. Everything you love about polk Audio is their just upgraded.

Sandy Gross did a hell of a job with all of his speakers Past present and into the future.

Sandy Gross and his ideas have nothing to do with Polk Audio. That's why he left. The comparison is silly even if they sound similar, heck they both sound like 10 other manufacturers if that's the case.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
