    Hey Mark
I thought of ANOTHER sales pitch for you!

Imagine, you would have like 30 minutes to teach me about why Tyler Acoustics is horrible! ;)

Out of respect of you selling a pair in here, I'm very particular when it comes to custom built loudspeakers. My standard is very high...no more no less. They sonically sound very nice but they're just not my cup of tea overall. You win some, you lose some and you enjoy them, who gives a fluck what I think. For every doro, there's 10 non-doro's I'm sure.

Consider the Vandersteen SOLD, well, I'll mark them SOLD...and we'll work out the small stuff later. They're not the gem of the overall lineup nor do they present either high or low perfectly but the timing and soundstage is forgiving in almost any room. Vocally they have always had an impact on me in regards to weight, proper tone and fluidity in how they rolloff between the entire crossover array. That's not easy to do.
It's a loudspeaker that allows you to play with other aspects because half the battle is done.

I'm buying them for the deal, it's a Polkie I respect very much, to keep them close to our inner circle Polk family and drop them off to my step-Dad as an upgrade to his OMG Original Monitor 10

At $250 and a few extra bucks for a meet and greet with a good friend is totally worth it for me.

Trey - Hopefully bring some good BBQ from your end, and I'll bring you some good stuff from mine. We'll talk offline about tweeters and sure we can work something out. This deal is all business, cash on hand, the rest is private.

You can't beat these for a very nice, overall presentation when it comes to midrange in a staggered, REAL time aligned array. The Polk RTA12 is the bar standard for this style of array when it comes to Polk but they're better head to head. What has always struck me as a Vandersteen attribute is the smooth soundstage and ease of which it integrates into almost any setup. Again, very room forgiving and a easy loudspeaker to listen to for hours.

You guys that were sitting on the fence on these are just dumb.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I was just about to take a nap and some wild eyed Polkie came banging on my door.....Vandersteens in hand. I thought Trey was coming next weekend so I was totally unprepared but thankfully dressed.

I can't believe he drove from his house to deliver these but am greatful. He was on a mission to return home so I gave him some goodies from Polk and saw him off. His new ride is super cool BTW and you couldn't deal with a nicer Polkie, aside from me of course

Thanks Trey, safe traveling and thanks!

Well, I wanted these to go to my step-Dad but he said there's nowhere to put them. Ugh, so I'm going to use them in the pool room once I figure out a nice all-in-one piece of electronics to drive them.
