I have successfully wired up one of these subs as the wiring came undone after all these years...
I only had one wire I could not be sure of since it was disconnected on both subs --
It is the white inductor - the lead connected to the red wire currently. It is the only wire I saw that had an indention where a wire had been...
Thoughts?
I also sent Ty a message but I really wanted to get these wired back up tonight. I had no idea both subs did not work

It puts out 5.5 ohms - but there are 4 8 ohm woofers?- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Just doing a quick trace --
Bottom terminal + to large iron core inductor to positive speaker terminals and capacitor to ground
Top terminals has wires that go to the top terminals above for tweeter bypass wiring
The second set of wires from the top terminal is as follows...
Positive to cap to inductor and positive wire (that goes to the terminals up top that lead to the midbass) to ground.
Shooting for worse schematic drawing ever here --- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
I think it is wired up right - it makes bass... but it immediately sends me receiver into protect mode... and I mean as soon as it hits higher volumes. Which is odd. But it is below the ohm load and power the receiver can put out- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

A 8ohm woofer can have a DCR under 6ohms. Crossover components in the circuit can also affect the DCR. As for the rest of your wiring, I'm too buzzed to examine it at the moment."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. Ah cmon Mike!
PLEASE!
I REALLY want these done tonight! I have soooo much to do! Damn trades! These are wired way different than my Taylod- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
NVM!
Ty is pulling a late nighter and confirmed my wiring

One of the best I have heard in a while.
