As the title says, I'm looking for a tube integrated amp around the $2000 taxes in range.

Going to be used with a set of klipsch corwalls and a Jolida tube cd player.
Later in the year I will also be adding a turntable.

Maybe check some of Grant Fidelty's offerings? Prima Luna from Upscale audio maybe?

Do you want integrated phono in the amp, or will you be using a separate phono stage?

Heiney wasn't too far off with the Stingray....at the old prices. Actually, it was the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the thread. Check the used price the last one went for on the forum...

The Audio Space Galaxy (the first link) gets stellar reviews. The only thing I don't like about it is if you are going to use NOS tubes (which I highly recommend) it will cost you an arm and a leg to re-tube.

If I were in the market, that's the one I'd be leaning towards if I had the coin to re-tube. Many of the tubes it takes I already have in my stash so the outlay wouldn't be too bad.

The Rogue stuff is very nice as well.

You need to consider, auto-bias, fixed bias or manual bias. I prefer manual with auto being a close second. Not a fan of fixed bias tube amps.

Grant Fidelity is offering a new 40wpc, KT88 based PP integrated called the W30GT which has an integrated 12AX7 phono stage, as well as an integrated 24/192 DAC section. Initial reviews are good, and even Klipsch people like the sound even though it is push-pull. It looks like a great all-in-one solution.

Yeah, Manley about doubled their prices on everything in the lineup a couple of months back, IIRC. Not sure how that affected the used prices though. Great piece if you can find one.

According to the Agon Blue Book, it doesn't appear to have affected the prices of the original Stingray. If anything, the resale of the original has declined slightly since the debut of the Stingray II.

Try getting hold of one... The thing about manley is that even though they were not cheap before the price raise, they offered more than the price would suggest.

aside from the usual suspects,,Rogue,Manley,,and given the efficiency of your speakers,,have you thought about any of the 2A3 or 300B offerings?
JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)
