1C's with a Krell KAV-2250. Beast of an amp!
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Started with Adcom 545 II, next Carver M1.0t. Have been using Acurus amps lately and am very happy. Best amps I have used so far.

SRS originals with a Rotel RB 1090 @700wpc into the SRS's 4ohms (380 into 8) Rotel RSP 1098 as pre/pro and twin PSW 505's....still working on it. It sounds good, but not as good as I think it's capable of.

I was wondering when the Anthems would come up. A small group of us heard the "magic" with the Anthem1 amp over at Ben's pad a couple of years back. That sounded really good. While it may not be the be all to end all amp, this particular one pairs extremely well with the 1C's.

That was a treat--an SDA out of body experience--stock speaks too--and,,I know where I can find that exact amp.

I do thoroughly enjoy listening to the 1C/Anthem combo. It's gotten progressively better as I've begun replacing the stock tubes. 12AX7 is now a 1950's Valvo and the 12AU7's are 1950's Telefunkens. Can't wait for enough $$ to replace the power tubes in the amp1 and the 6922's in the pre....and replace the caps....and so on and so forth.

No power at all--stored in the closet due to lack of floor space! Stock 2Bs and there is only one room in the house that can take them--that room is currently occupied by a Polk RTi-A bookself surround system.

If and when I decide to break them out again, I'll probably use a Jolida JD 303.

Sda 1C's with Carver Sunfire Sig. 600.

Very realistic sound with a contour button engaged or just the bass boosted some.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
