I am stoked for TW2004! I will probably have to wait til Friday to get it though.

I'm sure the soundtrack will sound great on my LSi15's. ;)

I picked it up last night. Been playing it all day. It just happens i need a Heating guy to come in and repair my boiler. ;) That meant a day home to play.

Gameplay is pretty much the same. The putting seems to be easier than 2003. I can't say for sure, but I am tearing the game up. Graphics are great, improved from 2003. The build your own player thing is sort of wierd. All sort of equipement. Sponsorship. More courses. I don't have a Network card for my PS2 so i can't say anything about the online play. Someone else will have to come up with that.

I've been playing TW2004 a lot when I'm not working (which ain't often right now) and I love it, other than not being progressive scan on the GC. The create-a-player feature is outstanding. There is a ton of detail to it. I started off with just a t-shirt and jeans, but was blantantly forced into some snobbish golfing attire so I could get bonus points for my skills. I look like such a tool in my tan khakis and long sleeved maroon sweater. ;)

The create a dude is pretty good. I find it's weird trying to make someone that looks like yourself.

I started with the match play stuff to get some quick cash and build my stats. I had a couple of close matches but never lost any.

I started the Tour play and was something like 38 under through 3 rounds and the next closest dude is very far behind. :(

Overall it's a great game, loads of fun. Best played with a few buddies and a whole lot of beer. :D

Turn off the stuff that tells you distance, wind speed, elevation, grids, and putting tips. ;)

    Haha, there's an idea. :D

I was actually 40 something under through 3 and 56 under final. Although, I must say I've played hours and hours and hours of 2002.

You know, I could really get into a gaming forum here, heck, my comp's outputting DD 5.1 right now. Into some Pinnacle BD 1000 towers for mains, Infinity center channel - till something better comes along, Anthony Gallo Nucleus Micro's for surround.

Sid, you talking a real man gaming forum, i.e. computer gaming, or the kiddy stuff? Like PS2, Xbox, Gamecube? LOL:p

I just noticed this. Under the Movies and Music description, it says that this forum is for "ALL" entertainment formats. Is this a new change that we have missed? Is this Micah's way of granting us a game forum? Either way, I say that gaming discussion should as of now be welcomed and encouraged. Who is with me?!

Well Justin... Here's you're title. Cool enough for ya?
I'm all for a game forum. But true.. it should have some kind of "audio" content. Like how the sounds of bullets ripping through the flesh of cops in GTAIII and Vice City is gonna sound with Xboxs Dolby Dig. Capabilties. Or how "Enter the Matrix" would look sweet on a flat screen in 1080i with a Polk Surround setup.(notice the clever advertising of Polk there).:D
Come on Micah....Justin.... POLK AUDIO!......POLK AUDIO!....POLK AUDIO!....POLK AUDIO!......POLK AUDIO!.....POLK AUDIO!...I've done my ad bit for the day. Thank you and good night.:D
