Sorry didnt see the brand, actually not sure if there was a brand on them. One time i had to get caps for something and ordered them from mouser electronics. Word of advice if you have not done caps before do not start here unless you do a lot of practicing first.

As stated in an earlier post, two of the amps arrived with issues, and one of them was also damaged in shipping. On a positive note, Scott and I did manage to work out a solution. He proposed a generous offer to take care of the issues, and I accepted. This transaction is now 100% complete with no outstanding expectations from either party.

In the end, I believe that this was simply a combination of unfortunate events. I truly believe that Scott was honest and upfront throughout this, and I appreciate that. Scott did what was necessary to make things right, and I have no hesitations in recommending him to others.

Just what i expected from messages from knowing you on cp.

Salt of the earth, no ego or pretense, and an open generous attitude towards fellow audio sojourners.

Thouroghly enjoyed the few minutes we got to meet, would be most welcoming if you wanted to visit us in the mtns, with or without jerry and nicky, maybe take a ride on the blue ridge railroad from mccaysville to blue ridge, maybe even help me replace a couple caps in speaks.

Definitely would make my world class meatloaf and mashed potatos, maybe homemade coconut creme pie.

    Just a thought.

Shipped Dbruss,s spotless sr8000 today, he purchased it for 200 well spent bucks, and the nasa grade remote actually went in its own double boxed package.

He says it will be going in his dads barn that he has turned into a man cave, sounds pretty awesome to me.
Sent him some pics of my work packing the gear.
I put the stuwee treatment in effect on the receiver, using insulation foam from a can, plastic sheeting and the soft cushy foam electronics are shipped in, as well as an outer box that was reinforced in the corners, both boxes were bubble wrapped in their outer boxes.

They were insured but if these arrive damaged after all that, I QUIT.

Seriously, I hope he and his dad get many great years of enjoyment, he has been top rate to deal with, and i hope he feels the same.

I cant wait to get my mitts on it Scott. My dads version of a man cave is 3 snap on dressers and tractors and trucks. But its a brand new large building with a concrete floor.

Scott made it easy and I would buy from him anytime.

putting the stuwee treatment into effect, along with the soft flexible foam, cardboard reinforcement in corners, and finally double boxing, with bubble wrap, i would feel confident shipping again.

btw, the stuwee treatment is double wrapping merch in plastic, then spraying house foam insulation in a can, underneath, on sides and on top, it seals and surrounds the gear, molding to the corners and contours of gear.

Glad bruss got the goods, he seems like a top rate guy.
