Receiver and remote just about as pristine as you could ask, probably not much different from the day they came out of the box.

Top of the line at the time for marantz.

5 monoblocks have a little normal scuff or scratch here or there but perfectly presentable, all these components perform flawlessly.

Using monos with any receiver not only dramatically improves sound, but lessens heat from all components greatly.

I dropped and dented the cover of one of the monos while preparing to put a pic on the cp forum "Show me your **** embly" or whatever its called, so i am knocking 20 bucks off it for the small dent in the top amp in the pic.

Firm on price.

Have recently bought adcom 2 channel gear, selling to make money to buy a decent set of speakers.

And i just looked at pics close up for the first time since i took them, its amazing how dust just screams out, the monos have not been splattered with white paint, that is from taking pics in dark room, I promise these things are clean, if you would like other pics let me know.

We live in blue ridge ga. right where ga, n.c, and tenn. meet.
Could meet in atlanta on one of our trips to see family.

Let me know if you decide to ship to Houston, since it is "relatively local" compared to Seattle. :)

I'd seriously be interested in 3 or 5 of those monoblocks, but already have a receiver.

we seem to have a sale, just to two diff partys.

Have to be honest, im a little skeered about shipping before having cash.

I have sold to a friend of audiobilly here just a week ago, but he came here to pick up and pay.

If anyone would want to prepay and pay shipping, i will make sure they are properly packed.

The zip here is 30555 so you can check it out.

I promise you wont be dissapointed in this gear, I have a denon avr3300 in the bedroom, just looking to get money for more 2 channel stuff.

I have been on both sides of one of these transactions.

I sold 2 amps to JuanR and had cash in my paypal account before shipping, AND doro shipped me an LSiC I got May 14th which I am shooting payment out on later this week.

Its honestly w/e your comfortable with one way or the other.

    GLWTS.

Its looking promising, diff people asking for diff things, its really a shame not going as a unit, was designed to be used as one, but also as parts of other systems.

Let me relate to you our experiencing mission impossible, the one where cruise is hanging on for dear life to the train with the helicopter blades right at his head.

We were entranced by the authority and detail even in a loud scene such as this, but during the part where the helicopter explodes, it was so loud but still you could hear the tiny tink, tink tink, of metal and glass showering down around the room, i mean around our living room.

Not saying other rec. could not do as well or even better, but i know what this used as a system can do.

How much would you want for the receiver then if you are willing to separate and ship?

Just in case its helpful to someone, another pic.

Looks like we may have buyers for monos lined up.

Rec. is 200 of the best dollars you have ever spent on ht gear, im usually not this much of a salesman, but i would love to see a fellow polkie enjoy this, both for its capabilitys and its remarkable cond.

Oh, the remote is pretty amazing, its a learning remote, very substantial, and just check out the prices for this remote alone.

Would definitely consider this as partial payment for quality floor speakers if local.

Starkiller, are you still interested in the monoblocks? If not, I will be happy to take them, and my LSi7s/LSiC will be very happy as well!

As for the receiver, I already have a 7.1 receiver that I am happy with. That being said, this is a great receiver, and a great a price! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good 5.1 receiver.

CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Wait, what? I honestly have no idea what that is supposed to mean.

I hope I didn't come off as pushy or stepping on anyone's toes. That definitely was not my intention, and I apologize if I did.

I am using two of these on a pair of rf-7ii. I love them for two channel, they hardly get warm. They run very cool which is always a plus. I had 5 of them but that was just too many power cords. You do know these do not have a switch so you have to go and turn them off and on each time? I think a receiver like op was selling is one of the few marantz receivers that can switch the amps on and off through a d-bus. Good luck with the amps they are awesome for what they are.

I have recieved the amplifiers, but there are issues. There is a new thread in the electronics section with details on this. Please feel free to check out that thread and provide your feedback. Thanks!

Thanks for taking pics of the caps. I will have to check mine before i sell them. If the caps are indeed bad i hope you guys can work something out. Since these are about 10 year old amps remember you will be getting amps with new caps which is a benefit but i also agree that it sucks when a seller sells you something that does not meet your intentions functionally. Let me know if you do get them repaired as i have a question or two. Also lets not turn this thread into another ranting thread, this is a $hitty situation but you guys need to work it out like adults where both of you take partial responsibility. hmm maybe i will check my caps out today

@BBR: I posted another picture on the other thread to give better detail of the leaky caps. I have also posted more details after my testing of the amps.

I genuinely hope that Scott and I can work this out and remain on good terms! Once repairs are done, I will happy to provide you with any details that you desire.

Well i was lucky as both of my amps turned up clean with no leaky caps. I just saw that the OP stated that amps perform flawlessly, leaky caps (if that's what is going on with yours) would not be considered performing flawlessly, if it was ebay you would have buying protection unless the items were listed "as is". Again i don't want to open a can of worms and am trying not to take sides. Hmm actually comparing pictures my caps are black and not blue like yours, also the top screw in the back of my amps are gold while yours appears black.

Glad to hear yours are okay! The caps in yours look a bit different then mine. Did you get a chance to see the brand before closing it back up? If not, no big deal, just curious. Mine were Elna.
