I don't hear any sound from my Polk Lsi9 Cherry Right channel but only vibration sound from 2 woofer and tweeter. The left channel is fine. I don't know what wrong with Polk Lsi9 right channel. Even worst that i don't have original package to ship it to Polk Audio.

Hook up the suspect speaker to the left channel. If it still doesn't play, the problem is with the speaker. If it does play, you need to look elsewhere.

Still no sound but only hear vibrations from woofer and tweeter. I don't know what is going on with my lsi9. I am not sure if the problem is crossover, woofer, or tweeter.

What do you mean by "only hear vibrations"?

There is no sound coming out of right channel when listening music or movie. I only see woofer and tweeter vibrates. The left channels is working fine.

So you are saying that after you switched the L & R speaker the RIGHT channel still was defective? If so. Check all your connections, amp source etc. it is not the speaker.

You did switch the left and right speakers [changing nothing else] to help isolate the problem, correct?

I only see woofer and tweeter vibrates.

You should not be able to see a tweeter vibrate.

Anyway, I suspect that the 5 watt resistor on the tweeter circuit has cooked. You'd be surprised how little sound there seems to be without the tweeter working.

Remove the binding post plate to gain access to the crossover. Look at the resistors, you should see one that looks burnt. If that is the case it will need to be replaced. Unless you can do board repairs you will need to have the crossover fixed by someone else.

Simple questions deserve simple answers. I'm with ya Tom, no sense in pulling the crossover without making sure first. Jesse's probably right anyway. I know he has a pretty beefy receiver, but I don't see an amp in his sig. Very possible he cranked on it a tad too much and poof.

Dude, we are trying to help you isolate the issue here. Answer one question for me, please. Have you switched the left and right speakers [changing nothing else]?

Help us to help you. If you don't answer the questions asked, we can not help you.

I agree with treitz3. This is an important question that needs to be answered. Besides, if there is an issue somewhere else in the chain you may just end up destroying the replacement speaker too.

Guys, I get the impression that English is not kasuza's first language, hence the communication issues.

Kasusa: looks like you had a problem a couple of weeks ago with the Left Speaker.

Might be something else going on, if you have the same problem on different. speakers.
