USB Transports/DACs

I am finally upgrading my digital transport after a few years, which tells you just how good of an entry level USB device both of these Musiland components are. The 01USD has been my main-stay for USB digital transport to feed my DAC, and I love it because it doesn't need an external power supply. The 01US has been doing headphone duty, and even spent time as a DAC in my system when I was between DACs. The custom drivers allow ASIO, plus custom setting for using them as a sound card with volume control, or as an independent transport. They are both great little units, and nothing can touch them for the price, especially since they can accept signals up to 24bit/192kHz. If you have been thinking about getting into PC audio, there is no better or cheaper way.

    You're just a savior, Jake!!! Just about an hour before you posted the sale I was browsing the Gon for a little dac, then kinda leaning toward the HRT Music Streamer II, but finally was glad to be able to say: I just saved a bunch of money on my karaoke dac by switching to zingo :biggrin:
