basically everything, or at least all the stuff subject to wear that is prone to going south after about 15-20 years.

Roland also offers upgrades like bypass caps, iec (external power cord) connectors and better binding posts (apparently some of the older TFM's had crappy ones, Roland said mine didnt need them, I appreciated the honesty)

I did get the bypass upgrade though, 60 bucks? why not, all I know is the amp seems to sound better now than it did, though who knows how much of that is the bypass caps. I said no to the IEC add on, as it was a pricey 150 bucks.

either way, I got an amp I intended on having and using for a VERY long time

Currently my TFM-35 is in for refurb and should be done next week. I'm looking forward to getting it back.

I'm in Canada and I sent it to Rick Turcic at Ontario Audio/Video. He was on the list Trietz posted.

Hey Reno, how did the Carver amp compare to your Rotel amp? I've had experience with your Rotel amp when I was running my Maggie 1.7's. I'm interested to hear how you like each one.

I never actually ran the Carver as it not working right when I bought it. When I get it back and run it a while, Ill let you know.

Having owned Rotel I will say it is more sterile than Carver. The Carver has a warmer
    tone.
