fried tweeter in TSi300

Last friday I turned on an old technics stereo amplifier connected to my TSi300's and all I heard was very loud noise. I turned off the system quickly, and everything as properly connected. The system was working fine before.
Anyway after checking connections I turned on again, and the sound from the speakers was muddy, not highs at all. I checked with my AVR and the problem persists. I changed the tweeters from other speakers, and found that they are the problem, I believe they're fried. I already contacted Polk CS, and I hope I can get replacement parts (I'm the only owner and still covered by warranty), but just in case, what other tweeter replacement can I use?
