Is the Denon PMA 2000ivr enough juice for the LSI15's. I currently have a adcom 5500 hooked up but I'm concerned with the turn-on and turn-off thump. I can see the woofer cones move. I have the denon stored away in the basement. Any thoughts?

I'm sure it will handle the Lsi15's just fine. It's going to be a matter of taste if it sounds as good as the Adcom.
You could sell both and get something even better.

I agree with Dan, I'd sell both and step up to the next level

Give it a shot for giggles, but the turn on thump is totally normal and will not damage anything. My Adcom did that for 20 years and not a single issue.

Thanks, I just don't like to see the woofers move. I'm thinking about getting the adcom speaker selector to cut of the thump till the amp is on or off.

Your willing to add something else in the chain to degrade the sound because your woofer moves a bit .

Do what you have to do, but it is totally unnecessary
