Another dead V555ES

Hi everyone im new here. I have a question about a Sony V555ES. The unit turns on and lights up but the amp section doesn't seem to work. Is it worth fixing or use it as a boat anchor. Thanks

Sony ES receivers has a five year warranty.... get it fixed if it's less than five years old...

This receiver was worked on once before I know they have problems. Just wondering if someone has had the same issue and was successful at getting it workong again.
