Looking for an upgrade power cord for a Pioneer Elite. It does not use a ground but I'm assuming a cord with the ground is perfectly fine? What are other Pioneer Elite owners using.

Mine's not an Elite but on my 1120 i'm using a custom one Pepster made. It sounds great, and yeah you can have a ground on it no problem. Good luck

I second the Pangea AC-9 recommendation.

Either the Pangea AC9, AC14SE or Shunyata Venom are excellent, and inexpensive, power cords. I have all three, and they all made audible improvements in sound with each piece of gear. However, I am using seperates, not an AVR, but you can't go wrong with replacing a stock cable.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
Sony XA-5400ES SACD; Pass XP-22 pre; X600.5 amps
Magico S5 MKII Mcast Rose speakers; SPOD spikes
Shunyata Triton v3/Typhon QR on source, Denali 2000 (2) on amps
Shunyata Sigma XLR analog ICs, Sigma speaker cables
Shunyata Sigma HC (2), Sigma Analog, Sigma Digital, Z Anaconda (3) power cables
Mapleshade Samson V.3 four shelf solid maple rack, Micropoint brass footers
Three 20 amp circuits. -
Without a doubt, give pepster a shot! I current have 4 of his cords and gonna get another if that tells you what I think of them. The guy knows his stuff and you'd be supporting a fellow Polkie.
