Well I finally got started on my stands for my CRS+'s, I used the print in the SDA specs in the vintage section of the forum as a guild but ended up doing my own thing. the only thing I kept to print is the height. I used 1-1/2 tubing and lasered the polk logo for effect. The stands are at paint being powder coated should see them back by the end of the week..
Here are a few pics of the project

I hate your stands. They put my OE stands to shame.
Nice work. -
Wow, those are some slick looking stands, Larry. You look like you have access to much better metal working/machining tools than I do!
I especially like the Polk logos integrated into the stands! Very cool idea.

The logos are very cool. I had a pair of "knockoff" stands built for me years ago by my buddy Grant.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

I remember, at Polk, a pair of the original stands were converted into office stands. I think a printer still sits on one.

Just something to throw out there, have you thought about adding a white frosted plexi insert behind the Polk Audio logo? Or depending on the color your painting them, maybe some tinted plexi?
