edited October 2012 in Vintage Speakers
Well I finally got started on my stands for my CRS+'s, I used the print in the SDA specs in the vintage section of the forum as a guild but ended up doing my own thing. the only thing I kept to print is the height. I used 1-1/2 tubing and lasered the polk logo for effect. The stands are at paint being powder coated should see them back by the end of the week..

Here are a few pics of the project

I hate your stands. They put my OE stands to shame.

    Nice work.

Wow, those are some slick looking stands, Larry. You look like you have access to much better metal working/machining tools than I do!

I especially like the Polk logos integrated into the stands! Very cool idea.

The logos are very cool. I had a pair of "knockoff" stands built for me years ago by my buddy Grant.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Excellent job, Larry!
I remember, at Polk, a pair of the original stands were converted into office stands. I think a printer still sits on one.
    Cheers, Ken

Just something to throw out there, have you thought about adding a white frosted plexi insert behind the Polk Audio logo? Or depending on the color your painting them, maybe some tinted plexi? Would run the full lenght of the interior.
