I don't know if I'd call it "disingenuous" per se. Sure it isn't Peter anymore. But they've always been very upfront about that fact. KISS is a brand thing after all right?

Anyway, Danger Boy, if you're curious and have any interest in seeing the band, then by all means GO SEE THEM! I've done so twice, and enjoyed both shows. There are multitudes of acts I would *rather* see given the choice, but there's nothing wrong with wanting to see them...or actually going!

As with everything you'll likely read on this forum or most others - you'll always have your fan boys and your haters. Remember to keep your grains of salt handy to wash down the "advice" you get. Do what YOU like to do - and enjoy it! :)

    Cheers!

As I wouldn't ever pay to see them again, I would take someones money to go see them. I like free money!!!

Ehh...I guess if someone paid me to go see them, I'd go...but it'd have to be a decent amount. I'd also bring ear plugs though...and probably a book to read during the show...lol

That "Seventh Star" album reallly wasn't a Black Sabbath album; it was a Tony Iommi solo album, but the record label forced him to label it as a "Black Sabbath featuring Tony Iommi" 'product' to sell more 'units'. :frown:

It had Glenn Hughes on vocals.
    Not Ozzy.
    Not even Ronnie James Dio.

    But ........ glenn ........... hughes ........ :frown:

I've changed my original opinion from "Don't Go" to "Must Go".
Danger Boy, you MUST go. Take somebody with you with a video camera or a good cell phone capable of capturing acceptable video.

Assuming they don't have "festival seating" or whatever-the-heck-they-call-it, you need to get there early so that you can get close to the stage.
In the middle of the second song (assuming it'll be 'Rock "n Roll All Night'), you should jump onto the stage, turn to the crowd and shout the previously suggested,

    ""Yeah !!! KISSSSSSSS !! WHOOO-HOOO !! "

Post the captured video on YouTube, post the link here on CP, and all will be as it should be.
This is one of my best ideas ever.
