The Wings breezed through the 1st round too easy. I'm afraid they will be soft after having so many days off.

Detroit, as usual looks too good not to win it all. A canuck upset is in the making. I really had high hopes for the rangers but that didnt work so well. Bruins Habs are still the best rivals in all of the NHL and im loving their series.

Go Sharks! niemi needs to get on his game and they need to take better care of the puck in the neutral zone, but that 5 goal period sure was fun to watch!

He better do more than that.

His rebounds are killing us. It seems as if his gear is made of the same stuff as Super Balls.

With that said, this year the Sharks actually seem to have a chance. If they all click at the same time they are unbeatable.

I was saying when the playoffs started this would be the best series, but never did I think it would end like this... Canucks blew 3-0 series lead, then blew lead with 2 minutes left in game 7(shorthanded!!) to send it to OT. I woulda about crapped my pants.

Well, game 7 tonight for pens, they have been outscored 13-3 in past two home games (13-6 overall), so theres not much to hope for (except crosby coming back:wink:, thats about our only chance)

I'd give the Pens way more credit than that. They've spent the better part of the second half of the season without their top dogs and have faired quite well. I wouldn't be surprised if they pull this one off. I'll root for them!

Flyers and canucks made it through and Montreal needs to win tonight! Go Habs! Think this is the first time I have rooted for the Habs! I have never really liked Boston, except when Orr, Esposito and Cherry were there!

Last year when the Habs took out Washington and Pittsburgh I became a fan for the very first time.

Man i tell you, the entire series, the officiating on both sides was absolutely HORRENDOUS!! I have never in my life seen such terrible calls. I pity the Bruins and the Habs for having to put up with it. Heart pounding for 7 games means i got everything i could ask for. Too bad they didn't win game 2 that i paid $250 for a ticket to be at

Maybe so but being the longest standing rivalry in the NHL, every game has entertainment value like no other.
Now on to a real threat! The Flyers! :)
Flyers are most likely going to win the series...just going to throw that out there.
    Go Wings!
When the Bruins fall, the Redwings are my go to for the West.

I will agree with you there now that i think about it, they were part of the original 6 and were the only 2 Canadian teams.....
Might be the longest but far from the greatest.

You got that right. That being said, those Twins need to learn what playoff hockey is all about in order for that team to succeed. Are they tired or do they not understand that the playoffs command 120%+.
