RM6750 Sub controls not working

Hello,
I recently took my RM6750 out of storage (no problems before whatsoever). When I tried to turn it on I noticed that the power light would not turn on. I went to radio shack the other day and got replacement fuses.
When I got home and plugged the sub in (no inputs just power) to test it, with the switch selection set to off. It powers on on FULL BLAST (very loud humming) and then the fuse burns out in like 6 seconds. I have turned the volume all the way down, the power selection switch is on off, yet still this problem persists.
What can I do, or is it time to get a new sub? I am very disappointed as I had no problems with this product until I put it into storage for 6 months and it was working just fine before.
