I have a set of 1986 CRS+'s they have the blade/blade and 2 MW6510's.

My mind was set on doing the 4.1tl mod on them, I started looking at DK's schematics for this mod and saw that it required the pin/blade and the two MW6511's (1990 CRS+) someone said I still could tl these and I just ended up putting it on the back burner, well last week I found a set of 2B crossovers on eBay for $50, looking at the schematics of both the 1990 CRS+ as well as the 2B's they seem to be identical (inductors as well) and should be able to mod my 1996 CRS+'s to the 4.1tl's, I have the RDO-198's as well as the MW6511's, my 2B crossovers came with the pin/blade binding post plates as well with all the wiring harnesses..

Anyone see any reason why I can't do this upgrade/mod with the 2B crossovers?? I think I'm good to go from what I see except placing my order with Sonicraft..

Larry.

As long as you got the 16mH inductor with those 2B crossovers. You've got right crossover and drivers, Your good to go.

Hey you want to sell me the left-over MW-6510's pretty please.

One difference that may or may not affect the over all results. The pin/blade CRS+ uses a SW102 passive, while the blade/blade version uses the SW100. They will be the same size, just tuned differently.

Larry, there should be hand written markings in white on the back.

Nothing on these two Jesse not even a sticker that you sometimes see..The two in the CRS's are marked, and the two I have with no markings look just like the two in the CRS's..

I just noticed the little white stickers on the 2B crossovers and they say 2B and CRS.. Looking forward to this project again. I have had them apart for some time now, the rings have been instaled a few months ago as well..LOL..
