    I'm no fan of this at all. As cheap as tubes are , why would one take to time and effort to do so. I can see hobiest going and doing all this but if their isn't any sonic benefits from making your own, I still don't see the need.

    The Russians been making quality tubes for as long as I can remember

    It would be nice to have something that makes it easier to reassemble my tubes after I clean the inside of the glass.

    Do it yourself tubes . . . . No Problemo . . . all it would take is some fancy alloys, some mad metal-working skills, a really good vacuum pump, and a small glass blowing factory :biggrin:
