MIT Interconnects On Sale

Got the latest email from MIT, some of EXP entry level interconnects are on sale.

Here is the email.

Hello Greg-
Earlier this month I let you know about some EXp 2 Speaker Cables that had been classified as "B Stock" because of an embarrassing mistake with the print wheel on our cable winding machine. Well, if you took advantage of the speaker cable sale, we now have some interconnects that match up well with your cables... and we're liquidating them at 75% off!

They are "B Stock" - not because of a printing mistake this time - but because they've been traded-in by our dealers and distributors for something new.
Head on over to http://www.mitcablesexpress.com/exp-b-stock-sale.html to claim your part of this huge sale. These cables are being sold on a first come, first served basis and quantities are extremely limited, so act quickly. Packaging varies.

One more thing. I'm leaving town tonight to go on a much needed vacation with my family and won't be back until Monday the 25th. So if you have any questions or concerns, please call the factory at (916) 625-0129 and ask for Grant Miller or email him directly at gmiller@mitcables.com. He'll be able to help you.

All the best,

Gavin Fish
MIT Cables

Anyone tried these out before? any comments!

(Please keep this thread on track, this thread is about the sale of cables/interconnects and experiences with these specific interconnects. This is not a thread on whether you believe in or do not believe in cables) Thanks :)

Anyone think the 8m versions would work well with a splitter to run to my Fathom f112 rather than just a single connection?

Great, I just tried ordering a few things, but for some reason they will not accept anything other than a credit card... I guess credit/debit (read Visa Check) cards don't count? No Paypal either? Damn.

Oh well, maybe I can try to score an Australian Bank Card?
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Check if this Canadian dealer has such deals (106-42 Fawcett Road, Coquitlam BC V3K-6X9 Canada) http://ww2.mitcables.com/where-to-buy/international-distributors/north-america/aralex-acoustics.html

The info is brand new tonight! These are interconncets, not the speaker cables that Keiko posted!

I already ordered and received $200.00 worth of the MIT speaker cables and it cost me $90 total in shipping charges. Still got a deal IMO.

    From other thread:
Got mine today, $65.71 charge from UPS along with the $28.14 shipping charge. Total shipping to my door in Ontario, Canada was $93.85

    MIT shipping to Canada: $28.14
    UPS brokerage fee: $39.10
    HST:$21.53 (Goverment Sales Tax)

Thanks for pointing out the UPs charges though as a lot of people are unaware of them. I am going to see if they will ship more product to me via USPS, if not I may use UPS again.

Does 8m mean 8 meter cables? Who needs 25 foot interconnects?

If your sub is not right beside your speakers (as in many setups) you do need a long(er) cable. d'oh

I e-mailed the guy at MIT with the question whether he will ship via USPS instead of UPS (as I do want a pair of 30-ft speaker cables, and a pair of 1.5m interconnects) when Keiko posted the wires deal. The guy did not even bother replying to my e-mail.

Ah... I suppose that makes sense. Course, then I'd have to buy a second sub to go with my extra 25' cable!

I received my EXP speaker cables Monday. Seem like great cables for the price they cost. I ordered a 6 meter pair of IC cables tonight. I need this length as I have Adcom GFA 565 mono blocs sitting behind each speaker and my preamp is located in my stand. Timing for this sale couldn't have been better for my needs.

    Yes.

I asked this awhile ago for a different MIT IC - they can be used for sub cables as well.

Whether they are the 'right' cable for your setup to get that synergistic smile going....only you can decide that.

Shoot, there don't seem to be any more of the shorter interconnects left. Shortest looks like 6m now, that's way longer than I need, I need 1m or 2m max. You snooze you lose...
