Ok i have a PSW350 with a PSW404 Stacked on top of it. Now i have just noticed that when i am not even using them it's (404) heat plate is abnormally hot. I do have it on auto mode so i wouldnt think that is the problem. Is this normal? anyone else notice?

    Hello Spastic,
Thanks for posting on the Forum. The amplifier's input plate will remain warm, to the touch, in the stanby mode. The power supply remains on to provide the energy needed by the audio circuitry to "recognize" when an incoming signal is being fed to the unit. However, it shouldn't be excessively hot. Is there plenty of circulating air near where the input plate is?
