Alright, let me just start by saying this is absolutely amazing. I just gave it another listen at 90db average, peaking at over 112... I am beyond impressed. This score uses just about every instrument imaginable. The ambiance is just amazing.. if this album doesn't bring out something in your speakers that you haven't heard, I'd be surprised.

I know it's a video game soundtrack, but seriously, get your hands on this... it is impressive... a very unique style

This totally makes me wish I had a nice sound system when I played the game all those years ago.

Diablo III is due out sometime , it's been in the making for years now. I got it , yes it does sound good , the game sounded wonderful even in todays standards.

Diablo III is going to be interesting. I literally grew up with diablo... I think I played I, Hellfire and II from 5th grade until a little after I graduated high school. I believe the OST is better quality than the game... all the game rips are like 22k6 or something

My only worry with D3 is that it will be pay to play like WoW, or incorporate anything else that wow has like endless updates, major class structure changes, completely retarded 50 foot bosses. I've never played wow, but my brother used to play, and it is the opposite of what I want from diablo 3.

In fact , I did not like the LOD because it was so screwed up.... it didn't feel like diablo... the multiplayer was screwed up with updates and random stuff... being able to get to 99 in a few days was BS... the music and town structure didn't feel right..

We shall see, from the game trailers I have seen , it looks to be traditional style Diablo. I also grew up on this game , I still own them all and once in awhile break out one and play. I spent countless hours on these games and I'm so impatiently waiting for III. I've been wanting this game for years.
My favorite is the Tristram theme.
