Anyone picking this up. Trailers look good. I'll probably jump on it when the price comes down a tad.

Normally, MK is like the retarded cousin of fighting games. That said, it looks like maybe they've put a little work into making this one a more serious fighter while keeping the goofy gore that everyone associates with Mortal Kombat. I'm iffy on it. Hoping they put a demo out on Live before the game's release.Equipment list:
Onkyo TX-NR3010 9.2 AVR

Color me shocked... They actually turned in a decent fighting game for once! Spent some time playing it with my Street Fighter 4 stick, and it feels really good. Played a little online with a friend, and we had a blast. Sindell's x-ray move, however, totally makes my crotch hurt on the inside. Heh...Equipment list:

My roommate got it a few days ago and has spent every waking second playing it with my system turned up way too loud. The headache has gone on for days. The game is great, though, and is probably his favorite behind MKII.

I haven't picked it up yet, but will in the next day or so. Glad you guys favor it.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

I wish I could get into fighting games, but they infuriate me to the point where I feel the blind rage need to make my controller explode.
Hah, I don't know if I could afford the destruction of controllers that would be associated with this purchase.....
This does look damn sweet though...2007 Club Polk Football Pool Champ

I picked it up today and played for a few hours ( my eyes hurt ). Games cool , some moves work the same some have been changed. The story mode is pretty cool , I'm digging it.
I had to put a code in just to play online , that was stupid. I hate Microsoft long 24 codes.
The sound quality of this game is off the charts. My speakers never sounded so crisp and dynamic. I have it pretty cranked and it sounds like a whirlwind in my living room. the subs hit so damn hard , I'm loving it. Hell this game could be a system show off demo.Dan

Yeah, get used to putting in codes to play online. All these companies are doing that to get more money on used sales, because they feel like they should get paid any time anyone sells their copy of the game. So if you buy it used... be prepared to pay $10 to buy the online pass.Equipment list:

Thats so retarded , you pay for xbox live , you should have to pay again for a used game to go online. This will make me very selective buying games from now on. I will not buy a used game and buy a $100 pass, they can suck it. Whats the point of buying used if your not going to save any money?Dan

Do you guys remember the time when many computer games had you flip to a random page, paragraph and sentence in their manual book and type a few letters from a certain word each time you wanted to play?
I agree, it's BS though.... but they want you to buy new, that's how they make money. I'm sure someone will have a key generator sometime soon... Ubisoft tried to make it so you had to log in online to play single player ACII, this resulted in boycotts and crackers trying extra hard.... companies will never learn... -

Yeah, but you aren't paying the original company for Xbox Live, just Microsoft. These companies feel like they're losing money on used sales because of companies like Gamestop. To me, that's a ridiculous argument only made by companies who put out crappy games in the first place. If I buy a car and re-sell it, the company who made that car has no right to money from my sale. The same should be true of games... but the online pass thing is a way around that, letting companies at least get $10 from a title re-sold at Gamestop. They don't want you to save money on a used game... because they want you to buy it new so they get the money instead of Gamestop making 200% profit off a trade-in they took.Equipment list:
