Hey guys, so I bought a bunch of Polk stuff for my 2001 Tahoe including:
Component Speakers in front doors (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000P0R6LQ)
Coaxial Speakers in Back Doors (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000P0PF9G)
Sub in the back (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0016GX21G) with a polk mono amp (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0016GPDFO)
Sony MEX-BT3800U Receiver (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0032FOJPM)
I got all this about 6 months ago and had the local Fry's Electronics install it.
I have noticed that in the front component speakers it sounds like just about any high pitch sound is slightly screechy and like static almost. It can be hard to tell at some times but there are definitely some sounds like the "s" sound that is really staticy.
It has gotten better over time but it is still there. I thought maybe it was just me that was hearing this but just the other day a friend of mine commented on the exact same thing when he was in my car.
What is causing this and how can it get fixed? It is a wiring problem? Speaker Problem? Receiver Problem? Is this something that the installers messed up on? It is normal and will eventually go completely away with time?
It is weird because this noise is only in the front speakers (the components) and not in the back coaxial.
Any help would be awesome!

You might get some help by posting your question in the "On the Move" section at the lower end of the main forum page.Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."
