Quick question about driver replacement

Why would one replace the 6503 mid with a 6510.I saw this as an option on the new xover site.(gimpod)

    This is optional and not required and only if your doing the TL mod for the earlier (pre 1989) CRS+'s. In 1989 Polk replaced the MW-6503 with the MW-6510 on the CRS+ only, why god only knows, Polk only recommends doing the TL mod on the later CRS+'s but a lot of guys around here have done it on there 2B's, earlier CRS+'s without changing the driver. I just put it there for the extremely anal modders who have to have everything perfect :wink:.
