We sure miss having lower level space (live in Fla). You've demonstrated that a little "planning ahead" allows for quality bonus use.

Question, do you have access to your electronics' wiring from behind their mounting wall?

I don't have access to the writing in the walls besides what can be handled by removing the ceiling / inwall speakers. However, I did run 1 1/2" pvc tubing from my utility room where the cable / internet / phone panel sits across the ceiling and down the wall into one of the home theater cabinets. That way I can fish wires to the home theater components in the event of new services. Here's a pick of the inside of the main cabinet.

Thanks again everyone. Yes, we are big fans of HGTV  I'm going to be calibrating the TV's with "Spears & Munsil" disc this evening. Anxious to see the difference after calibration.

That is truely a work of art. I really can't find the words to adequately describe it, high end luxury maybe? Certainly not a basement, or even terrace level.
    Vinyl, the final frontier...

Avantgarde horns, 300b tubes, thats the kinda crap I want... :D

Well, I finally got around to installing the Polk outdoor speakers. I mispoke earlier about the series; we picked up 2 pair of the Atrium7's. I put one pair up by the deck and the other down below by the patio. Man, these things sound pretty good for outdoor speakers. I am impressed with the bass response these things put out! Again, I couldn't be happier with Polk speakers at the moment.

Man that is awesome! Love the columns. This is a home theater my wife would be completely on board with...maybe someday.

That type of work out here in CA would cost a fortune, I have been wanting to work on adding some molding and wood work, but haven't had the time to get the skills down to tackle it. Very nice setup, I would be glad to call your basement my house. lol
