can the RM8/RM7 work with the above? or they too small?
i want would get the full RTI A for rears as well, but they are way big in dimensions

i am sure the FXI are much better, they are just way big for my rear speakers. i mean big in physical dimensions.
and how about OWM3/5 ? -
Can you go with in-ceiling? I think that would be your best bet. Otherwise any of the ones that you mention will work, but the problem is that the crossover will need to be set really high, like 150 hz, which will put some strain on your smallish sub and will make the effects coming from the surround channels a little thin sounding. I used to use a small pair of satellites for my surrounds for the same reasons so I understand your predicament. The cheap in-ceiling speakers I have from monoprice sound SO much better FWIW.
Good luck!

Thanks for the tip!
Will need to find in-ceiling rear now that will work good with the rest:) -
Since you were already considering speakers with slightly different sonic characteristics and timbre, I do not think that it matters all that much what you go with. I think that unless you listen to a lot of multi-channel music (concert dvds, sacds and dvd-audios), the surround sound speakers do not have to match. Having said that, lots of other folks will disagree here. Also, if you have the coin polk does make timbre making in-ceiling speakers for the rti a series.Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

May also want look for a pair of used LS f/x. IIRC they are smaller than the FXI. Check here for specs: http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/products/recent/lsfx/

Yes, these smaller. Will consider as option. But in-wall is a great solution that I am thinking of now.
I have a good deal for RC65i, are those will work with the sub and fronts I have?
Thanks -

Yes , In wall or In ceiling surround channel speakers tend to perform exceptionally well due to better placement. I like In ceiling surround speakers.

My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -

Thanks for advice to you all,
I just found a good deal for RC65i so will go for them.
secondhand, not used NIB.
will let you know how the new rig will sound -
Hi All,
Jut wanted to update that the rear rc65i sounds great with the RTI A front rig.
I came to hear to ask for good satellites and ended with in-wall speakers. more work, great sound (my walls are blocks and concrete, not wood) worth the efforts.
thanks to all for the tips. -
HI,
Thanks for the feedback.
I dont think i will use another identical speaker for my center channel. How about center speakers from paradigm, psb or kef??
Suggestions??
Thanks
