Look for used Signal Cable II's, they can be had for the price of new SC A I's....well that's what I've always sold/bought mine for.

Both companies make good wire you can't go wrong with either one. I chose BJC for the easy connectors & lower price.

The terminations are better on the Signal Cable.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I am a big fan of Signal Cable. Great product, great service & good price (not the cheapest...but well worth the price IMO).

Since I'm retired and have nothing better to do at the moment, I'll break it down a little.

The Signal Cable Analog I's are pretty high capacitance compared to the Analog II's or Blue Jean LC-1's.
    Analog I - 28.5 pF/ft
    Analog II - 17.3pF/ft
    LC-1 - 12.2pF/ft
    From the Blue Jeans website:
"Capacitance contributes to high-frequency rolloff, so the lower the capacitance of the cable, the flatter the frequency response in any given application (how flat will depend on the device impedances as well as the capacitance, so it's not possible to generate a one-size-fits-all frequency response chart; but in every case, the lower the capacitance, the flatter that curve will be). Capacitance, like many cable attributes, is a per-foot characteristic; while high capacitance won't ordinarily make a significant difference in short runs, it becomes an increasing problem with longer runs."

All three use Belden made cable. The Analog II uses a 22AWG bare copper stranded center conductor, whereas the LC-1 uses a 25AWG solid copper conductor. Both have a very similar dielectric and shielding with the LC-1 offer a little more braid coverage (98% vs 95%). The Analog I uses an 18AWG copper coax conductor of some kind but they don't go into much detail past that. I think the Analog II uses Belden 89259 which is a RG-59 type video coax which has been a pretty popular cable for audio IC's. The LC-1 is supposedly made by Belden for Blue Jeans Cable to their specs and is designed for audio.
Depending on several variables, I would think the Analog I's could have a tendency to potentially roll off highs a little. If your system is on the bright side that might be OK, whereas the LC-1 with it's ultra-low capacitance could potentially make the same system seem even brighter.
In my tube based system I preferred the LC-1 over the Analog II, but then again my system is probably on the warm side. I don't think I've tried the Analog I.
Comparing the price for the Analog II vs the LC-1:
Analog II - $55 per 3ft pair minus 5%??? (they used to give Polk members a 5% discount), plus shipping. $6 per pair for each additional foot.
LC-1 - $34.25 (with Techflex to match the Analog II spec) plus shipping. $3.50 per pair for each additional foot.
    To me that's a no-brainer.
Analog I - $40 per 3ft pair minus 5%???, plus shipping. $4 per pair for each additional foot.
I think the Analog II and LC-1 are both very comparable performance-wise, but are probably both much better than the Analog I.
2 channel - Willsenton R8 tube integrated, Holo Audio Spring 3 KTE DAC, audio optimized NUC7i5, Windows 10 Pro/JRiver MC29/Fidelizer Plus 8.7 w/LPS and external SSD drive, PS Audio PerfectWave P3 regenerator, KEF R3 speakers, Rythmik F12SE subwoofer, Audioquest Diamond USB cable, Gabriel Gold IC's, Morrow Audio SP5 speaker cables. The Analog II excels when used with Eichmann RCA's.

I currently run Blue Jeans, but I would go with SignalCable in this price bracket. The SignalCable Ultra speaker cables are way better in my opinion than anything Blue Jeans has to offer as far as quality and appearance.

My favorite combo is the Silver Resolution Interconnects with the Ultra speaker cables.

I think they are copper, or you can also get them in silver.

Go read the Eichmann site. But basically, it boils down to the connector is designed to minimize eddy currents across the electrical interface between the connector and the jack
