I recently purchased a wireless fx. I would like to know why, on occasion, the speaker emits an annoying popping sound and how I might avoid it short of returning the product.

Thank you.

    Hello Robert,
Welcome to CP! We'll certainly try and solve your problem. Do you happen to have any other wireless devices in the same room? A wireless motion detecter for a burglar alarm, maybe?
    Cheers, Ken

No wireless motion detector. However a wireless router is about 30 feet away. A tv that uses wifi is about 10 ft away. A logitech squeezebox is about 10 ft away as is a receiver and blu-ray player. All use the wifi from the router. The tv and blu-ray are using 5GHz ,11n. The squeezebox and receiver 2.4GHz,11g. The fx transmitter is about 4 ft away from the speaker.

    Hello,
The source of the problem could be one of those wireless setups. Give Polk's CS a call at 1-800-377-7655, they should be able to help.
    Good luck, Ken
