    About 8 of them.
    Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

    I'll take a stab at that... the rings allow you to use machine screws instead of wood screws to mount the drivers and passives. It makes for a more solid mount and there's no risk of stripping the screws in the particle board. The rings are engineered to match precisely the size and screw positions of the Polk drivers and passives. (Some folks use T-nuts for the same purpose, but then you're on your own for getting them positioned and set correctly.)

    I can honestly say I'd rather not ever pull drivers without them. They're very well worth the low price Larry asks for them. If you plan on messing with your speakers at all, watch the rings threads for when they're next available.
