You signed a paper to not talk about anything? Maybe a few things that you saw but I am sure that there would have to be some things about it that you can discuss. You know even if it was top secret you could still elude to what it was in general without giving out sensitive in depth info about it........right?
Comeon trey....You can do it I know you have it in ya.:D

Plus I couldn't be there so cough up some details my man.

    Ok Ok Ok!

    It was fun... *sigh*

Nah all I will tell you is...

Polk Audio puts ALOT of research into their products, and just being there reassures me 100% that Polk Audio Sets the Standards. They do so much work! I got a sneak peak at the new RT line, and I saw the LSi line, and I heard the SRT. Polk Audio welcomes you with open arms, and everyone is down to earth (with Mathew Polk on his own earth). Really cool place, and micah and paul are regular goof balls! lol! Cool place!

The cheese room is really cool...

Sean...that fire room! I found my future job man!! lol!

The demo room, they had several, but one main demo room...

the place is really big actually...alot bigger than it looks

I'll add a few items to Trey's comments.

Yeah, trust us when we say there is a TON of research and development that goes into each and every speaker developed there. I had no clue what-so-ever that the R & D was that extensive. Guys, rest assure they cover every possible angle when making these things!

This building here in Baltimore is the headquarters housing all Research and Development, Marketing and Finance.

Basically we saw how the products are drawn and refined on computer 3D imaging programs. We got to see the wood working shop where prototypes are created and refined.

The environmental testing area was something I never expected. They put speakers (home and auto) through a series of tests such as heat and cold, humid and dry climates, salt air (southern states) and so on. Everything gets tested. The electronics, speakers and cabinets. You guys in Florida don't want your car speakers to rust from the high salty content in the air, do you? NO! How about us slugs that live in high humidity areas. I don't want my speaker cabinets to warp from the high moisture in the air.

We got to see how a speaker driver is assembled for testing.

We visited the Marketing area. WOW, everything is done in-house. Smart bunch of cookies they are! We saw Web Geek Justin's area.

The 12V area was sweet! You saw in the pictures some of the cars they're working on. I neglected to shoot a pic of the blue car we got a demo in. Sorry! I think my head is still rattling!

The demo room (or should I say...rooms) were wicked cool! The first room had all of their current line housed in that one. We got a great demo of 2 channel and surround. Loved the Peter Gabriel DVD demo! Excellant choice Paul!

Room 2, or rather the infamous SRT room blew us away! The SRT's are sick! All humans should have a pair of these!

Oh yeah, the Krispy Kremes were yummy! Micah has a fireplace in his office. Paul's office is a wreck. One more thing...Trey, I was wondering what those boxes were also. Looked to be SRT bottoms (the subs) without any finish on them. Could be wrong. Thats what it looked to be to me. Guess they just keep a few around for sh**s and giggles.

Everything happens here in Baltimore before a speaker is sent to manufacturing. It was cool!

    No excuses!
