Thing is, it didn't go viral. It just disappeared. They interviewed the guy, he was a Grey haired fella about 50 or so years of age. The Mustang was a metallic red, hardtop V-8. They showed the results of the emissions test as it was running and it actually burned cleaner than stock.

The story definitely perked my ears from the moment I heard it and my goal was to talk to this guy in person. I wanted to do my truck like he did his Mustang, no matter the cost. Then everything about him, the Mustang, the story and everything about it just disappeared. They said that he only lived a couple of miles away from me.

I understand what you're saying. I'm not saying it did go viral, I'm saying if it were true, IT WOULD HAVE. I just spent ten minutes Googling, and can't find a single post about this story... at least THOUSANDS of people would have seen it, no one else was curious? Your theory is what? This guy did something amazing, and told only ONE TV station about it. That Big Oil swooped in after hearing the story, paid off or threatened or murdered this guy, and then paid off a major TV station to not only pull the video but also disavow any knowledge that it ever even aired, and then erased all trace from the Internet? And no one who heard the story bothered to follow up, and the guy who actually did this didn't tell ANYONE about his discovery who could continue his work? This seems likely to you?

My theory is that the station aired the story, found out it was all a hoax, and then pulled it to avoid embarrassment. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe you're right... but I'm just saying I'm skeptical, and there ARE other reasons why a story like that would disappear aside from "VAST big oil conspiracy and coverup."

If the guy lives so close, go drive up and down streets until you see his Mustang in the driveway and knock on his door. Keep us informed :)
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
