Impressive...
I do too!
Well, I count listening to my GPS as surfing the web."Dr Dunn admitted that his research could also be interpreted as evidence that women are shallower than men. He said: "Let's face it - there's evidence to support it."Best Buy is for people who don't know any better. Magnolia is for people who don't know any better and have more money to spend.

Especially power chairs they can be a real **** to get out of the grille work let alone off your bumper.
19% why does this not surprise me actually I'd thought it would be higher.“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” ~ Mark Twain -

Nope. I won't even talk on the phone with a headset while driving. There is not anything important enough that can't wait (a bit) to be dealt with.
Riding a motorcycle (street bike) will change your view points on distracted drivers. -
I've seen cops reading newspapers/magazines while driving... this doesn't surprise me.

Nope... not me.

I don't text either. I think the fines should be much stiffer. Suspended license should be in order 2nd offense, and 30 days on the 3rd.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

I saw the end result of a family getting plowed over [moments after it happened] the other week 40' in front of me. A teenager was driving twice the posted speed limit while texting and ran over a mother, her father and a newborn. Only the newborn survived. After looking at the stroller all mangled up laying on the side of the road? That's one incredibly lucky child. Well, maybe not lucky but extremely blessed to be alive.
It makes me sick to the stomach to see dead people in front of me because of someone's lack of judgment. It took less than a half a second of texting to take two lives. It was a perfect sunny day and there was no traffic when she hit them. The kicker is, she told the cops that she was "distracted" by something that fell on the floor so this wasn't even written up as a texting accident. It was a "speeding" accident even though eyewitnesses said otherwise.
From what I see on a daily basis, I would venture to say that 20% is a conservative figure. Cops are just as guilty as we are, undercover or not.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -

Texting while driving should carry the same penalty as DUI, and the victims family should be allowed to shove the cell phone up the offenders ****.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

Texting while driving should carry the same penalty as DUI, and the victims family should be allowed to shove the cell phone up the offenders ****.A 2003 study by the University of Utah psychology department measured response time, following distance, and driving speed of a control group, subjects at the legal BAC limit of 0.08%, and subjects involved in cell phone conversations. Data from the report are listed to the right.
As the study notes; "... this is the third in a series of studies that we have conducted evaluating the effects of cell phone use on driving using the car following procedure (see also Strayer & Drews, 2004; and Strayer et al., 2003). Across these three studies, 120 participants performed in both baseline and cell phone conditions. Two of the participants in our studies were involved in an accident in baseline conditions, whereas 10 participants were involved in an accident when they were conversing on a cell phone." However zero (0) drunk drivers had accidents in any of the tests. When results of this study are taken at face value it suggests that it is actually safer to drive drunk than sober. After controlling for driving difficulty and time on task, the study concluded that cell phone drivers exhibited greater impairment than intoxicated drivers.[6] -

And this, gentlemen, is proof that "natural selection" is real. I'm all for living life on the wild side, I do it almost every day, but you won't find me on a donorcycle trying to use a phone.
I used to do some minor surfing while driving while I had a Samsung Blackjack 2. With that phone I had the ability to feel my way around the keyboard and other buttons while paying attention to the road for the most part. Now that I have an iPhone, it's pretty much impossible, as the total-touchscreen interface requires your complete attention to manipulate and maneuver. You have no physical feedback to rely on aside from visual.- Computer Rig -
