Soundbar 6000 Sub-woofer Possessed?

I just purchased a Soundbar 6000 IHT.

I love the quality of sound. It was purchased to replace a Bose Lifestyle 28 and sounds just as good.

To my problem, when I turn the system off and return later to watch something the subwoofer volume seems to be turned all the way up!

Which is faaaarrrr too loud.

This keeps happening and I have no idea why. I adjust it back down and watch another show or listen to some music, then turn the system back off and when I come back again. Same thing happens, the volume on the sub it all the way up again!

Its a pain because I programmed my TV remote to control the soundbar and when this happens I have to get up and pull the Soundbar remote out of my drawer to bring the bass back down...

I emailed Tech Support, but no one has replied yet.

My home has a lot of wireless devices in it, I am starting to wonder if something is causing interference...

Any suggestions?

Is there a way to program the subwoofer volume into my TV remote too?
At least then I could control it all from one remote... lol

I have the same exact problem with this same soundbar subwoofer! It is extremely annoying! I use my cable remote to turn the soundbar on and off and control volume. But I am forced to use the polk remote in conjunction because I have to turn the the sub down every time I turn on the TV. Again, very annoying! A solution to this problem would be fantastic!

We should post a list of our wireless gadgets and see if we have anything in common that might be causing the interference... Or at least try to rule that out...

The first thing that comes to my mind is a Netgear N Router.

We have a Linksys N router.

I wonder if the N type wireless router is causing interference with the signal between the soundbar and the subwoofer?!

My router is on the other side of the wall from my soundbar...

    NOTE TO POLK:

I am really starting to feel concerned as the email I sent this past weekend has yet to be answered. I wonder how long it takes for Polk to reply to an email? Especially considering I am still within the return window to take this thing back for a refund... I don't want to do that, but if customer service can't come through with some advice on this issue I can't see keeping it. Customer service is the most important feature of any product I purchase. I hope Polk doesn't let me down on this...

I decided to call... They gave me a few ideas, but nothing concrete...

I just did call. They are kinda stumped too, but they did suggest that I cycle the power on my Soundbar and SubWoofer to see if it makes any difference. Also suggested that I see if I can change the operating frequency on the router, because the Subwoofer operates on a 2.4 GHz frequency and that might just be interfering with each other...

I am going to experiment and see what happens...
