What small center can i pair with RTi A5's
Just recieved my Rtia5's and csia4. Love the build quality. Unfortunately, the center just wont work for my setup. Not buying a new cabinet, tv id a huge samsung 58 inch plasma so i dont want to put anything above it. What is the smallest center (for a 3.1 setup) i can get that will match closely to the CSi A4? This sucks but the wife wont go for any other big speakers. Driving the speakers with the harmon avr 1600, and DSW pro 440wi for the sub. Help a brother out! :frown: i think i can do 4.5 inch high and up to 8 inches deep.

a 4.5 inch tall center will be hard to find. I would say of the CSiA4 doesn't fit then I would just go without a center.Front - RTiA5's
Rear - RTiA3's
Center - CSiA4
Sub - PSW110 -
I know the blackstone TL3 works in a set but would it pass?

I bought a TV2 riser. I had the same problem. My tv stand looks more like a coffee table. It has 2 dwars and one shelf. The TV2 riser is just a 8in tall shelf / riser that will allow you to put the center channel under the tv. It is made up of hard wood so it feels pretty solid. They claim that it is rated for tv's up to 120lbs. It is held together by those cam bolts. You know those steel pins that thread in to wood. Then they have the big disks that do a 1/s turn and grab the head of the steel pins.
I also used some wood glue and 4 screws to help hold it together. It was solid with just the cam bolts but I wanted to over engineer it. There is no way it is coming appart now.
I made a post about it in the club house. I need to update it with some pics.AVR: Onkyo Tx-NR808
Amplifier: Carver A-753x 250 watts x 3

Center: CSI A4 (modded by Trey VR3)
Rear: FXI A4

Wish I could do that... The TV stand is pretty high, up is not an option. Maybe UNDER the stand!? Might not fit though and would block some of the loudspeaker. Rats!

You can turn the csi a4 upside down to point the speaker up at you. Or use some L brackets to hang it on the wall above the tv.AVR: Onkyo Tx-NR808

Ahh yes i feel your pain Enze about the wife situation, i suffer with the same problem, i started of with a HTIB setup and slowly convinved her to let me upgrade. Now i have 2 setups and some equipment in the closet:biggrin:. But the center is a crucial part of you HT, if can you post some pics of what your setup looks like maybe someone can help you out with your problem. But once she hears that csi a4 in action she wont complain. Good luckMusic doesn't lie. If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen through music.

I am also looking for a smaller center to match my RTiA1 bookshelf speakers. Would the TL3 center be ok? I don't like the looks of the monster CSiA4.

alanmushnick/Enze6997, so finally what are you deciding for center? I am in similar situation and wondering if TL2 center might fit with RtiA1/A3.

I got the TL3 and it is perfect.

Perfect to fit in the space or do you think it's doing its job perfect as a center speaker?
