I do believe that Scott Triggs has reared his ugly face again. Check out this amplifier auction over on the 'gone. Blocked out serial number and just check out his moniker.

Just offering a heads up, just in case this is him. It sure does smell funny and there are way to many "coincidences" to me to feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

    Just run a search on Scott Triggs or Wangotango and the knowledge will start flowing. Most of the ol' dogs of the forum know exactly who I'm talkin' about without even trying to think about it.

    I'd highly recommend that you purchase this amp immediately with cash sent through the U.S. mail. Don't have to wait for your new amp until the check clears that way.

    I would suggest taking the time to read more of the threads at this forum as well as other forums that he prowled and wronged. THOse that do not want to consider the advice of seasoned members may of course do business as they please, but no tears later for them if things go wrong.

    I was one who Scott tried to rip-off. I bought an amp and he never sent it. It took months and a lot of pressure from other CP members and eventually got my money back. Beware. Voice of expierence.

    "Pissing wars" are one thing (cable discussions, Emotiva amps, etc come to mind); integrity and honesty in financial transactions are quite another beast.

    I GREATLY appreciate it when the masses look out for their own here. I am not new, but not old school here either. I now know to not buy from WangoTango (and others); that knowledge is very much appreciated. I'd honestly rather err to the side of caution than get burnt in a transaction; especially if the masses here can attest to past shadiness.

    This post was spot on Tom; thanks for bringing the less than savory names to the top. That's need to know information.

    And the kicker is, I'm getting a rather sizeable bonus 3/11, and was looking at Sunfire amps on Audiogon just last night. I scrolled by this exact ad, but want a 5-7 channel amp so I moved on.

    on a serious note, its nice to know who is good to purchase from, who not to buy from, and who will handle issues promptly without whining and realize that **** happens from time to time. sometimes deals go sour, plain and simple, no rhyme or reason, whether it be shipping issues, its an old piece that finally bit the dust, or someone plain forgot to mention an issue. it happens. however when a member continuously screws over members of this forum and multiple others, its great to know what that person is doing, incase they are trying to hustle someone else over. just like when i walk in a bar, i like to know who the resident pool shark is, so i can avoid them like the plague. lol
