SDA 2.3 vs 2.3TL XO

I own the SDA 2.3 and am working on updating the caps/ resistors/ tweeters etc. My kids take priority so I am SLOW and always find reasons to wait...such as the custom boards that may be available soon.
I had read decato's transition from 2.3 to 2.3tl to some morphed 1.2tl mini back in 2005 and he said it was not cost practical back then. So I compared the schematics the other day and got to wondering...because most parts are being replaced anyway.
Yes, the low frequency is a lot different. But, I was surprised to see the 2.3 version uses 3 different drivers, where the 2.3TL uses the same driver in all locations.
My main intrest was in the high frequency circuit due to the 198 tweeter versus 194 and the XO is fairly similar. The leading cap is a different size and the inductor is slightly smaller on the TL. But, one circuit on the TL looks the same, one has a smaller resistor, and the third is much simpler on the TL.
My question following all of this is ... does anyone know from if the HF / LF split is significantly different that enough between the two models that would make it not worth while to put the 2.3 TL tweeter array with the 2.3 LF array? Thanks in advance for helping me understand.

Great question. I have no idea Jeff. Eagerly awaiting responses on this question.

Do not ry top convert a 2.3 to a 2.3TL. The XO's and the drivers are setup very differently. I'll look into changing the 2000 to an RDO198. Shoot me a pm if I don't respond in the next couple days.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

Look again, they are not even close.Political Correctness'.........defined

Also I think I read somewhere here that even the enclosures are different internally that and the wiring and the balance between the drivers and tweeters. It's a whole lot more than just swapping tweeters and some components on the crossover. IMO it's just not worth the time, money and trouble to do it.“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” ~ Mark Twain -
Yes, and they reverse right and left sides. I figured more expertise had investigated this before or it would have been tried, but I could not find it in searches other than decato who did the whole speaker... Thanks again for the responses and I will follow up with ben if I fall off his radar. It looks like he has a kewl kooker DIY project on the burner so we'll see.
