You are correct, the accuracy is their strenght and the output power is their weakness. However, this type of unconventional/esoteric speaker always been a fascination. Also, keep in mind that this technology is only used for the tweeter and more conventional drivers are matched for the mid and low (IMO, a seperate sub would be a must for such product).

They look terrific- Sonus should have a trademark on that finish.

Curious what they cost, but if you have to ask...

can't remember which brand these are but they do look awesome eh :)
It's too bad they never ended up looking that that. They ship will all-black drivers, smaller emblem and much more pronounced rubber gaskets around drivers.

Now personally, I like the look of these.
In my eyes, visually, LSi play on balance of homage to studio monitors, warmth of wood and a touch of sophistication with a piano black finish.
    lsi9.jpg

As far as ultimate in aesthetic execution, that would be any of Sonus Faber speakers. (Yes, even the lower end) These Amati's are an excellent example.

However, I haven't heard a single Sonus Faber speaker I would be completely happy with in terms of sound. Which leads me to these Focals Utopia. To me they both have killer looks AND sound. I've heard them at this year RMAF show, and they were just a complete musical experience.
