Guys, thanks for what's been donated so far, Danny spoke with Gary tonight and he broke down in tears from the generousity thus far. With the help of Club Polk and Audiocircles we might just get him through this.

PI Audio Group made a $1400 donation today.

Fantastic, Russman! It's not even the close of business on Thursday and a sizable chunk is already in. Would you mind keeping the PP account open? I had to blow an incredible amount of unexpected dough this week  and I would still like to contribute some funds to Gary. That, and I have a couple of nibbles on things I'm trying to sell on his behalf as well as a payment from a customer tomorrow. I'll have the time to deposit it on Friday but no-can-do tomorrow during banking hours.

Any support anybody else can help out with is much appreciated. Gary is a good man who builds a solid audio product. He has bent over backwards for many and not asked for anything in return. Like what has been said, $5.00...$10.00? Whatever you have to offer. Everything that collectively happen to assist him in covering the bills will do nothing but help to eliminate unnecessary stress for him in his time of ill health.

Believe me, if you haven't already owned one of his products? You damn sure would want too along your audio journey. I know of many folks who are eying his new battery powered pre's. Thanks in advance for anything you can help him out with....and thanks Russ for making this happen for him. You are the man!

Guys, I guess I'm going to roll with it, and do it on here and AC. Let's pass the plate for Gary, and get the rent covered if possible. I've got a Sony preamp that I haven't yet sold, I'm going to price it to move and try to help out with a couple hundred. Five, Ten bucks, whatever you want to do, whatever you can do.

Use audioads@tx.rr.com for paypal gifts, I'll pull the cash out and take it straight to him. I'll also be happy to print a ledger / screenshot from the paypal account for anyone that has donated. Let's see what we can do by COB Thursday, and I'll pull the cash and take it to him on Friday. I'm going to post this on AC also, I don't think anyone else is handling this so far, so I might as well.

I'll dig around here today and see what else I can do on quick sale to raise some cash. Any questions or concerns at all, just email me rgates@polkaudio.com or polkaudioruss@gmail.com (will hit my phone just about instantly).

If someone else is already doing this, please let me know. Skip the Starbucks and Double Cheeseburgers for the rest of the week, and let's try and make a difference.

    -Russ

I'm pretty stupid tired right now. If I'm to paypal some money for Gary, who do I send it to?

    Thanks,
    engtaz

Thanks guys, Gary being the tube head he is works for himself, he's going to get through this, but he isn't able to work his magic and build right now. Every little things counts, and I appreciate the $5 and $10 gifts as much as the hundos, and I assure you he does also. He may not be active on CP, but he's done a lot for this forum, and a few individual members - and at the root of it all, he is a audio guy, 2ch through and through, and your support in these trying times means the world.

Just a little bit more and we can push this over the top for him. You guys have done this before, please, I ask you to try and do something, no matter how large or small. This is the real deal.

    Thank you.

    Cheers,
    Russ

Mold spores? Are you kidding me? Hang in there Gary. The mold issues within the body can be taken care of in short order. After that, the doc's can have at you and do what they need to do.

Don't ever forget how bad mold is to a person. Any of you.
