I usually only drink water, but while it was cold I got hooked on tea. I drink around three cups a day. I like chai and mint the best... what's your favorite brand/flavor?
I basically just try the stuff available at the stores. Tazo decaf chai is my favorite, though it is no longer available by me.

Earl Grey w/bergamot or Constant Comment for hot, & Tetley for iced tea.
Do you do some Tai Chi before you drink your Chai Tea ?:biggrin: -
True tea. Non of the commercialized stuff.... In Dallas there is a place called Teavanna or something like that, I think it is a joke.
Tea drinking requires many things. Among the requirements are:
how hot was the source of water;
how you filter the tea water to prepare;
the teapot itself;
there are many, many factors.
Though I must admit to enjoying Lipton iced or hot, at times...

It's the leaves of a plant, I'd have a hard time calling something that has those leaves not "true tea."If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -

www.uptontea.com Best selection of excellent quality teas at very reasonable prices.
I tend to like big, strong black teas (e.g., Assam) - with milk and sugar, but I also like brisker teas such as Ceylons. Right now we're'drinking a lot of a Vietnamese black BP from Upton Teas that's a really fine daily drinker at a bargain price. http://www.uptontea.com/shopcart/item.asp?itemID=TV02&from=searchResults.asp&searchString=vietnam&searchOptionMatchAll=1&searchOptionCategory=1&searchOptionItemName=1&searchOptionItemDescription=1&searchOptionDocuments=0&searchOptionLimitCategory=&searchOptionPriceRange=0&sType=new&begin=0
I also like some fru-fru flavored black teas (e.g., Earl Grey). Upton's Earl Greys are superb.
Another good tea vendor is John Harney and Sons:

I like oolongs, too, but have yet to cultivate much of a taste for green teas. Japanese genmaicha, with puffed rice in it, is nice, though. -

once i tried good loose tea I'll never ever drink store bought bagged tea ever again -
Old ginseng root tea prepared fresh. Had some at a Chinese pharmacy in Vegas - exquisite and invigorating.
I also like the Bigelow Mint Medley. -
Chai does it for me, my coworker found a nice strawberry honey blend that was outstanding as well.
